Stripe's processing fees (not ours)

Payments run through Stripe. Stripe charges its own fees on top of our platform fee. At Stripe's standard US rates:

  • Card payments: 2.9% + 30¢ per successful charge
  • Recurring memberships (Stripe Billing): an extra 0.7% of the payment

International cards and currency conversion cost more. See Stripe's pricing page for current rates (checked October 17, 2026).

Questions

Who pays Stripe's fees?

You, the creator. Stripe's fees come out of each fan payment, the same as our platform fee. Fans pay only the price you set; they don't pay a platform fee.

When are fees taken?

At the moment a fan pays. Our fee and Stripe's fees are deducted from that payment, and the rest goes to your Stripe account for payout.

Can I cancel Creator Pro?

Yes, any time. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then your account moves to Free and the 10% fee applies to new payments.

What happens to my domain if I downgrade?

On Free, a custom domain is a $50 one-time fee. If you move from Pro to Free you can keep your domain by paying that fee; otherwise your site goes back to its creatorcontent.net address.
